President

Founded in 2012 after the merger of several former operating companies, MedCore Talent is led by founder Charlie Mayhone. Charlie has a solid track record of building successful organizations in retail, telecom, and most recently healthcare staffing and executive search.  A true visionary and participative leader, Charlie manages strategic, operational, and client services functions of MedCore Talent while still managing to recruit top talent, his true passion. Prior to founding MedCore Talent and its preceding companies, Charlie served in senior leadership roles at two of the nation’s largest healthcare staffing firms where he managed sales and operations with full P&L accountability of top line revenue more than $200 million annually.  He also served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for a telecom firm for nearly 10 years.  A tenured executive and entrepreneur at heart, Charlie has a tremendous track record of building and leading successful organizations to record revenue and profitability levels and making hiring decisions that significantly impacted revenue and operations. In addition to volunteer work within the Charlotte community, Charlie is actively involved in several philanthropic projects, most recently as the co-chair of MedCore Foundation, the charitable arm of MedCore Talent. A native West Virginian, Charlie earned his BA from Marshall University. Charlie and his family reside in Charlotte, NC.
